Why do you use the CCS?

My clients and I agree that a picture is worth a thousand words. But more importantly, a picture can give rise to a thousand words – new and personally meaningful words that facilitate discovery, direction, insight and focussed action.

With much of our deeply held beliefs, we don't really know what we think until we hear what we say. For me, this is the most powerful attribute of the CCS cards.
The CCS provides a self-selected, generative metaphor for making explicit our underlying attitudes, beliefs and values.

Using the cards as a tool for personal reflection, it is possible to break free of limiting patterns of thinking and understanding and experiment with new and more effective ways of framing experience, intention and action.

The process helps clients to build a firm foundation for honest and open communication, both with their inner self and with those around them.

I also find that the CCS Cards are a perfect complement to my Action Learning system Action Profiles© that is used for identifying, measuring and managing positive change.
